Jean Rowe

Jean Rowe, Corporate Workplace Resiliency Manager at Amazon, is internationally recognized as a subject matter expert in organizational resilience, security, enterprise risk, business continuity and crisis management. She has over 20 years developing, implementing and managing strategic projects and programs in more than 186 countries for both public and private sector organizations. Most recently, she developed the enterprise risk management and organisational resilience program for Uphold Inc. She designed and implemented world class business continuity and crisis management programs in 186 countries for the World Bank Group, the IMF, and the United Nations Women and Economic Commission for Africa. She also developed and implemented the resilience program for Verisign, the world’s internet infrastructure provider. As a trusted advisor, she has in-depth experience in responding to and recovering from natural and manmade disasters (from social media to cyber security disasters). She is a published author, an engaging speaker, and served on several technical committees to shape BCP standards, leading practices, and industry benchmarking.
