Alberto is a passionate contributor to the continuity and resilience industry. As a member of the ISO/TC 292 – WG2 and the working group for the update of the BCI Good Practice Guidelines (2018 edition), he is actively engaged in the writing of international standards and best practices. He is also an author of several articles, papers and research reports, and is often invited to attend international conferences, webinars and events as a speaker on business continuity and operational risk management. Alberto is a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), a BCI Approved Instructor and an IRMCert professional (issued by the Institute of Risk Management). He served in the BCI Risk and Governance Committee for three years until May 2019 and as the BCI Italy Forum Deputy Leader for four years until December 2018. Alice has over 39 years’ experience in IT with 37 years at LexisNexis / Reed Elsevier (RELX Group). She began her career as a software engineer and quickly advanced into management. Since beginning her management career in 1989, she has led many organizations spanning the spectrum from software development, release management, development support, daily operations, technology introduction, and culminating in her current role in Service Continuity Management. Alice holds the Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) certification and the Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute (FBCI) certification – with 20+ years’ experience in business and service continuity management.

Uxía Fernández González
Uxía Fernández is the partner in charge of business continuity at Ozona Consulting. She is part of the international committee ISO/TC 292, which develops ISO standards related to business continuity and crisis management. She is also a member of the board of the BCI Spanish Chapter. She has extensive experience in auditing and implementing business continuity management systems in large companies from different sectors. She is also the project leader for ISO / TS 22317- Guidelines for business impact analysis. As for her qualifications, she is MBCI and ISO 22301 Master certified, which includes ISO 22301 Lead auditor and Lead implementer.
